Lanark Blue

Crafted from the unpasteurized milk of Lacaune ewes, Lanark Blue, a renowned cheese, is meticulously handmade on Errington Cheeses farm.

The milk, sourced just meters away, matures in their traditional stone buildings, imbuing it with a distinctive flavor. They age it for six weeks (early season) to eight months (Christmas/Burns night), resulting in seasonal variations. Spring cheese is fresh with a light blue flavor, while the Christmas edition is more potent.

Made with vegetarian rennet, Lanark Blue is best enjoyed at room temperature, stored in the fridge at 3-5º, and cling-filmed once opened to preserve its excellence.
